Plymouth Marine Lab Childrens Film

E-mail Print PDF

The ocean acidification animation made by children from ages 11-15, from Ridgeway School, Plymouth in collaboration with PML and EPOCA and is now available on Youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55D8TGRsl4k + http://www.youtube.com/user/KellyMarine4.

You can view some information about the making of the film on the PML http://www.pml.ac.uk/news_and_events/latest_news/royal_institution.aspx and EPOCA websites http://www.epoca-project.eu/index.php/The-other-CO2-problem-animation.html and it's first two showings, firstly at the Climate Change Congress in Copenhagen and then at The Royal Institution when I was invited to give a Friday Evening Discourse (hence the posh frock!). It has had a lot of UK publicity, including children's news on BBC where they did a feature on the making of the film! I hope you agree that the children have done a really great job - please feel free to use it in talks/presentations and to put it on your web site or make a link to Youtube. The issue is global so let's help make the film go global!
